What Is the Arundel Vocal Arts Society (AVAS) Website?

Updated

The Arundel Vocal Arts Society (AVAS) website is the online home of a community-based, nonprofit mixed-voice choral group in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, that has been performing since 1983. It serves singers, supporters, and concert-goers by publishing concert information, membership details, and ways to get involved or stay in touch.

What AVAS Is

AVAS describes itself as a community-based, nonprofit choral group dedicated to performing varied, mixed-voice music for the benefit, education, and enjoyment of its members and surrounding communities. Its programming spans contemporary choral works, classical masterworks, operetta, pops, folk music, lighter favorites, and Broadway.

The organization states that membership is open to adults, and that it intends for its membership to reflect the cultural diversity of the communities it serves. Its stated vision is to be Anne Arundel County's premier vocal chamber ensemble, under the motto "All Voices Are Significant."
