What is the Baltimore City Yacht Association (BCYA) website?

bcya.com is the official website of the Baltimore City Yacht Association (BCYA), a sailing organization that exists to organize, sponsor, and promote sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, in and around the Baltimore Harbor. The site is aimed at Baltimore-area sailors and racers, and its main functions are publishing regatta dates and race information, promoting Tuesday Night Racing, and recruiting members.

What the site covers

The homepage presents BCYA's purpose statement and three main areas of activity:

• Regattas — major named events with sign-up links, including Race to Baltimore and Harbor Cup
• Tuesday Night Racing — a recurring weekly series
• Membership — a "Become a Member" call to action

2026 event dates listed on the site

The site notes the Tuesday Night Racing season is "coming soon" and directs visitors to sign up for Race to Baltimore or Harbor Cup.

Who it's for

The site serves sailors and racing crews in the Baltimore region who want to take part in Chesapeake Bay and Baltimore Harbor sailing events. If you're looking for a local race calendar, a weekly racing series, or a way to join an organized sailing community, this is the entry point.
