What Is the Corn Maze at Boonstra Farms?

Updated

Boonstra Farms' corn maze is a 10-acre maze that anchors a broader farm-attraction visit: one admission price also covers a hayride, petting zoo, playground, bale maze, Murray's mountain slide, and a train ride. It suits families with young children, youth groups, and birthday or company parties. The maze runs on a drop-in basis on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 6:00 pm — no appointment is needed for public hours.

What's Included With Admission

The farm lists the following as part of the admission price:

  • 10-acre corn maze
  • Hayride
  • Petting zoo and playground
  • Bale maze
  • Murray's mountain slide
  • Train ride
  • A large closed-in picnic area with seating for up to 180 people, positioned for company picnics and birthday parties

A chip truck, Boony's Chip Truck, is on site for food.

Halloween Season Additions

From October 17 through October 31, the maze takes on a Halloween theme and adds two attractions: the Tower of Terror and the Black Hole. These are included in admission during that window. The farm notes that pricing changes from October 17 to October 30 because of the Halloween attractions, so confirm the rate for your visit date before you go.

Hours and When to Visit

Day Hours
Monday–Friday Group bookings of 25+ only, by email
Saturday 12:00–6:00 pm
Sunday 12:00–6:00 pm

Public drop-in visits happen on weekends. Weekdays are reserved for pre-arranged groups of 25 or more, so a weekday visit requires emailing ahead.

Admission Prices

  • Adults: $15.00
  • Children 4–12: $13.00
  • Children 3 and under: free
  • Groups of 25 or more: $1.00 off per person when paying cash

A fire pit booking costs $25, and it is free for groups of 25 or more with advance booking. Payment accepted: INTERACT, credit, cheque, and cash.

Booking a Group or Private Event

For private weekly group parties or weekday group bookings of 25+, email [email protected]. The farm asks groups to book ahead, particularly for the fire pit and weekday slots. Weekend public hours do not require booking.

Practical Notes Before You Go

  • Check the date against the pricing window. Rates change October 17–30 for the Halloween attractions, so a late-October visit may cost more than the standard listed prices.
  • Bring cash for the group discount. The $1.00-per-person reduction for groups of 25+ applies only with cash payment.
  • Plan around weekend hours if you're a small party. Without a group of 25, Saturday or Sunday between 12:00 and 6:00 pm is your window.
  • The picnic area is worth knowing about if you're organizing a birthday party or company outing — seating for up to 180 people is available on site.
