What Is the Difference Between Play Lethal and Lethal on Steam?

Updated

Play Lethal (playlethal.fun) is a free browser-based daily card puzzle where you try to win in a single turn. Lethal is the full game being developed for Steam, which you can wishlist now. They share the same core challenge — find lethal in one turn — but Play Lethal is a daily puzzle you play in your browser, while Lethal is the complete Steam release.

What Play Lethal offers

The site centers on one question: "Can you beat this card puzzle in 1 turn?" From the homepage you can:

  • Play Today's Puzzle — the current daily challenge
  • View Archive — revisit earlier puzzles
  • How to Play — rules and guidance
  • Submit a Puzzle — contribute your own
  • Join us on Discord — community discussion

There's also a Subscribe option (via a Beehiiv newsletter link) and a Support link. The site also prompts you to Enable Desktop Version, so the puzzle is designed with a desktop layout in mind.

What Lethal on Steam is

Lethal is the full version of the game, and the site's main call to action is to wishlist it on Steam. Wishlisting signals interest and keeps you notified about the release — it is not the same as buying or downloading the game now. The site does not state a price or release date.

How they connect

Both share the same core mechanic: win in 1 turn by finding lethal. Play Lethal is effectively the daily, browser-based expression of that idea, while Lethal on Steam is the fuller game built around it. If you enjoy the daily puzzle, wishlisting the Steam version is the way to follow the full release.
