What Is the Game of the Day on Foony?
Updated
The Game of the Day is a single game that Foony highlights each day and boosts its rewards. According to Foony's own site, "a new game is picked every day," and while it's active, playing that game earns 1.5x XP, coins, and item drops until the daily pick changes. It's a rotating bonus layer on top of the normal game list — not a separate mode, room, or event you have to unlock.
How the bonus works
The mechanic is straightforward: Foony selects one game from its catalog, labels it "Game of the Day," and multiplies the rewards you'd normally get from playing it.
| Element | What the site states |
|---|---|
| Selection | A new game is picked every day |
| Reward multiplier | 1.5x XP, coins, and item drops |
| Duration | Until the daily game changes |
| Eligibility | Games of it — i.e., playing that specific game |
The multiplier applies to three things at once: experience points, coins, and item drops. So if you're trying to level up faster or collect items, the daily pick is the most efficient game to play that day.
What it is not
It's easy to mistake the Game of the Day for a special room or a limited-time event, but the site describes it purely as a reward boost on a chosen game. Two things follow from that:
- It doesn't change how you start a game. You still pick the game and play it the same way as any other title on Foony.
- It's not tied to the room list. Foony shows a separate "Rooms" section with live room counts, and the Game of the Day is presented independently of that.
In other words, the daily pick is a label and a multiplier, not a new destination.
Why it matters if you play regularly
Because the boost covers XP, coins, and item drops together, the Game of the Day is the natural first stop for anyone working on progression rather than just a quick match. If the daily game happens to be one you already like — say 8 Ball Pool, Chess, or Draw & Guess — you get the same gameplay with faster rewards. If it's a game you don't normally play, the 1.5x rate is the incentive to try it.
Checking what today's game is
The daily pick is displayed on the Foony homepage under a "Game of the Day" heading, alongside a "Play now" link and a note about the 1.5x XP, coins, and item drops. Since the selection rotates daily, the only reliable way to know the current game is to check that section when you visit — the site doesn't publish a schedule of upcoming picks in the material available.
One practical note: the homepage also shows live counters like "0 playing now" and "0 players today" in the captured page state. Those numbers reflect activity at the moment you load the page, so don't read a zero as meaning the game is unavailable — it just means no one was in a match at that instant.
