What Is the Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club Website?

Updated

huddersfieldrugby.com is the official website of Huddersfield Rugby Union Football Club (HRUFC), based at Lockwood Park in Huddersfield. It is the club's main online hub for news, fixtures and results, events, memberships, and venue hire, aimed at members, supporters, and visitors who need practical information about the club.

What the site covers

The homepage and navigation point to several distinct areas:

Area What you'll find
Club news Latest announcements, including match kick-off changes and club notices
Events Upcoming match-day lunches and social events, with dates and times
Rugby results Recent results across the club's teams
Rugby fixtures Upcoming home and away fixtures with kick-off times
Memberships Information on joining the club
Facilities hire The Waterloo Suite, 3G pitch hire, and office rentals
The Club History, contacts, club rules, kit shop, and safeguarding policy

Teams and rugby activity

The site lists a broad rugby programme beyond the senior men's side:

  • Senior rugby: Men's 1st XV, Women's 1st XV (Phoenix), Men's 2nd XV (Falcons), Men's 3rd XV (A Team), plus mixed social touch rugby and mixed social walking rugby.
  • Age grade rugby: Colts (U18s) and girls' rugby (Firebirds), alongside an age grade section and a festival listing.
  • Supporters' schemes: The 200 Club and the 25 2 50 Club, with join and past-winner pages.

Fixtures and results are published per team, so you can check a specific side's next match or recent score rather than only first-team fixtures.

Practical visitor information

If you're planning to visit or contact the club, the site provides:

  • Address: Brewery Drive, Lockwood Park, Huddersfield, HD4 6EN
  • Phone: 07842409064
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Office hours: 9.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday

There is also a "How to find us" page in the site navigation.

Who it's for

  • Supporters checking fixtures, kick-off times, and results — useful because match times can change, as with the Falcons v Barnsley game moved to a 3pm kick-off.
  • Prospective members looking at membership options and the club's teams and age-grade structure.
  • Visitors and hirers interested in the Waterloo Suite, 3G pitch, or office space.
  • Families exploring age grade and girls' rugby pathways.

The site does not publish pricing for memberships or venue hire in the material reviewed, so costs and booking conditions need to be confirmed directly with the club office.
