What is the Land Rover Owners Club of Victoria (LROCV) website?
Updated
The site at landroverownersclubofvictoria.lrocv.wildapricot.org is the official home of the Land-Rover Owners' Club of Victoria Inc. (LROCV), a four-wheel-drive owners club founded on Friday, 13 September 1963 and described on the site as the longest-established 4WD club in Australia. It serves both club members and visitors who want to learn about Land Rover ownership and 4WD touring, and it runs on Wild Apricot membership software. If you are looking for club meetings, membership, driver training, or club permit information, this is the entry point.
Who the club is
- Formed in 1963, originally as an Overseas Branch of the Land-Rover Owners' Club of England; independent branches now exist in every Australian state.
- The Victorian club has approximately 650 members.
- Its stated purposes include promoting the interests of Land Rover owners and drivers, encouraging four-wheel-drive touring, running training programs and social events, cooperating with government and land management authorities, and preserving the Land Rover marque.
