What is the Myongji University website (mju.ac.kr)?

mju.ac.kr is the official website of Myongji University (명지대학교), a university in South Korea. The site serves as the institution's main online presence, describing its educational mission and linking to key services such as admissions, the university portal, and the development fund. It is the right starting point if you want official information about the university, its campuses, or how to apply or log in to university systems.

Who runs the site and what it represents

The site is operated by Myongji University itself, as indicated by the copyright notice ("COPYRIGHT(c) MYONGJI UNIV. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.") and the university's own contact details. The homepage presents the university's stated purpose: building a university that contributes to world peace and the development of human culture, through substantial education, outstanding research, and service activities that practice "the true love of Jesus." This frames the institution as one grounded in Christian values alongside its academic mission.

What you can access from the homepage

The homepage links to several core destinations:

• University admissions homepage (대학입시 홈페이지) — for prospective students and application-related information
• University homepage (대학홈페이지) — the main institutional site
• Portal system login (포털시스템 로그인) — the entry point for the university's internal portal, typically used by students, faculty, and staff
• Development fund homepage (발전기금 홈페이지) — information on giving and fundraising

Note that the portal link is a login entry point; the source does not state who is eligible or what credentials are required, so access conditions should be confirmed on the portal page itself.

Campus locations and contact

Myongji University operates two campuses, both listed with a shared phone number (1577-0020):

The split between a Seoul humanities campus and a Yongin natural sciences campus is useful to know when deciding which location is relevant to a specific program or visit.

When this site is the right resource

Use mju.ac.kr when you need official, university-published information — admissions guidance, campus addresses, portal access, or giving options. Because the source material covers only the homepage-level links and mission statement, details such as tuition, program requirements, or login eligibility are not confirmed here; for those, follow the specific linked sections (admissions or portal) rather than relying on the homepage alone.
