What is The Real Quiz Company?

Updated

The Real Quiz Company (realquizcompany.co.uk) is an online shop that sells ready-made pub quiz question packs for quiz nights, workplace events, and social occasions. You buy a quiz, download it instantly as a PDF containing both questions and answers, and run it yourself. It suits hosts who want professionally written, tested material without writing questions from scratch, and it requires no account or sign-up.

What the site offers

The core product is downloadable quiz packs built around different round types, so you can assemble a full quiz night or fill a gap in one you already run.

  • General knowledge rounds — including a 50-question Mixed Round and a "Real Pub Quiz" general knowledge quiz, which the site suggests as a starting point for newcomers.
  • Picture quizzes — visual rounds distributed as handout sheets.
  • Dingbat rounds — word-and-picture puzzles, also issued as handouts.
  • Puzzle rounds — additional question formats for variety.

Every download includes the questions and the answers together. Quizzes are delivered in PDF format, which opens on most computers, tablets, and phones (Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, and typically Android devices, or via a free reader such as Adobe Reader).

Who it's for

The packs are aimed at:

  • Pub quiz hosts running a regular or one-off quiz night
  • Organisers of workplace quizzes and team events
  • Anyone hosting a social occasion who needs a complete, reliable set of questions

The site positions its quizzes as carefully researched, professionally written, thoroughly tested, and kept up to date.

How buying and downloading works

  1. Choose your quizzes. Browse the range and build the pack that fits your event — for example, a general knowledge round plus a picture or dingbat handout.
  2. Buy without an account. There's no commitment and no need to sign up, sign in, or create an account. Payment is by major credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or PayPal. PayPal is the payment processor, but you don't need a PayPal account to buy.
  3. Download immediately. Downloads are handled through the digital delivery service PayLoadz. After payment, click the "Continue to Download" link to get your files right away.
  4. Keep your links. Download links are also emailed to you, so you can retrieve the files later or on another device.

Support and extras

  • Free score and answer sheets can be downloaded at any time.
  • Lost or duplicate purchases are covered: if you've misplaced a quiz you downloaded, or accidentally bought one you already own, you can contact the site and they'll replace or refund as appropriate.

What to check before you buy

The site doesn't publish prices in the material available here, so confirm the current cost at checkout before committing. Also decide in advance which round types and how many questions your event needs — the site's own suggestion for beginners is a 50-question Mixed Round or general knowledge quiz, optionally paired with a Picture or Dingbat handout round.
