What Is The Sooner Club Website?

Updated

The Sooner Club website (thesoonerclub.com) is the official athletics website for The Sooner Club, an organization tied to University of Oklahoma athletics. It serves fans, donors, and supporters who want to follow news, understand the club's mission, find ways to get involved, and learn about facility projects and premium seating options.

What the Site Covers

Based on the site's own navigation and content sections, the website is organized around a few core areas:

Section What it's for
Latest News Current updates and announcements
Our Mission The club's stated purpose and priorities
Get Involved Ways supporters can participate or contribute
Current Facility Projects Ongoing athletics facility initiatives
Premium Seating Information on premium seating, including football

The homepage also includes a video background and promotional content, which suggests the site is built to engage visitors visually rather than function as a plain information page.

Who It's For

The site is aimed at three overlapping audiences:

  • Fans following Oklahoma athletics who want news and updates
  • Donors and supporters looking for ways to contribute or get involved
  • Premium seating prospects interested in football premium seating and similar options

If you fall into any of these groups, the site is designed as your entry point.

What to Expect When You Visit

The main navigation is labeled "Main," with content flowing through sections like Latest News, Promo, Our Mission, Get Involved, Current Facility Projects, Content Stream, and Premium Seating. A dedicated page exists for Football Premium Seating at thesoonerclub.com/sports/2024/5/23/premium-seating.aspx.

The site references "premium" offerings, but the available information does not specify prices, payment platforms, or whether any content requires login. If you're considering premium seating or involvement, treat those details as things to confirm directly on the site rather than assume.

Practical Takeaways

  • If you want news or mission info: Start with the Latest News and Our Mission sections.
  • If you want to support the club: The Get Involved section is your path.
  • If you're interested in premium seating: Go straight to the Premium Seating page, particularly the football premium seating page.
  • If you need specifics on cost or access: The site's public materials don't state pricing or login requirements, so check the relevant page directly or contact the club.
