What Is UEL USA in Florida?

UEL USA is the University of East London's expansion into the United States, launched in partnership with Indian River State College on Florida's Treasure Coast. It brings UEL's careers-first model of education to American learners. If you are a prospective student in the US — or simply following UEL's international growth — the dedicated UEL USA page is the place to explore what the initiative offers.

Where UEL USA is located

UEL USA is based in Florida, specifically on the Treasure Coast, through a partnership with Indian River State College. This is UEL's first named US venture, distinct from its main campus operations in London.

What UEL USA offers

The core proposition is UEL's careers-first model, which the university describes as its commitment to helping students build the skills, confidence and industry connections needed to succeed in the real world. UEL USA extends that approach to American learners rather than replicating the full London campus experience.

The announcement positions UEL USA as part of a broader pattern of recognition for UEL's student support and outcomes, including:

• Being named University of the Year for Student Support 2027 by the Daily Mail University Guide
• Ranking in the Top 40 in the UK (The Guardian University Guide 2027)
• Being the fastest-rising university in England (Graduate Outcomes Survey)
• Ranking 1st in England for Overall Positivity (National Student Survey 2026, Times Higher Education methodology, universities with over 1,000 survey responses)

Who it is for

UEL USA is aimed at American learners who want access to UEL's careers-focused educational model without relocating to London. If you are considering US-based study options with an international university brand, or you want to understand how UEL is extending its model abroad, this initiative is relevant to you.

How to learn more

The university directs readers to its UEL USA page for further exploration. That page is the authoritative source for details on programmes, location specifics and how to engage with the Florida operation. Because the available information describes the launch and partnership rather than listing specific courses or entry requirements, check the UEL USA page directly for current programme details.
