What is unipg.it, the website of the Università degli Studi di Perugia?

Updated

unipg.it is the official website of the Università degli Studi di Perugia, a university in Italy founded in 1308. The site serves as the institution's main online entry point, presenting its academic offerings and the support services available to students. It is most useful if you are researching the university as a prospective student, looking for course and degree information, or seeking guidance on enrolling and studying there as an international student.

What the university is

According to the site's own description, the Università degli Studi di Perugia is one of the oldest universities in Italy and one of the most accredited. It states that it offers a wide variety of courses across all fields of education. The homepage frames the institution's goal as providing high-quality degree programmes and academic opportunities in a stimulating multicultural environment.

What the website covers

The homepage content points to two broad areas of information:

  • Academic offerings — courses and degree programmes spanning the university's range of fields.
  • Student services and facilities — services available to all students, plus specialized support for international students.

For international students specifically, the site indicates that support covers:

  • University courses
  • Visas
  • Health insurance services
  • Enrolling procedures
  • Other practical needs for studying and staying in Perugia

Who it is for

The site is aimed at anyone considering or preparing for study at the university, with a clear effort to address international applicants. If you are weighing whether to browse it, the homepage is a reasonable starting point for an overview of programmes and for finding the international student support contact.

How to get in touch

The homepage lists a contact address for enquiries: area.relint @ unipg.it. The page itself does not specify response times, office hours, or whether enquiries are handled in languages other than English or Italian, so those details would need to be confirmed directly.
