EnglishWhat is Yishama and what does the site offer?
Updated
Yishama is a Pantam (handpan) maker and studio whose site is built for players: it sells instruments and accessories, explains how to buy, and hosts music and learning content. It is aimed at handpan players and buyers who want to order a Pantam directly from the maker, browse occasional ready-to-ship instruments, or learn more about the craft and the musicians who play Yishama instruments.
What Yishama is
Yishama describes itself as focusing its energy on building high-quality Pantams so that each player gets a rich, deep experience every time they play. The name comes from the Hebrew word “יִשָּׁמַע,” which means “to be heard.” The stated vision is to create a sound sculpture that offers the individual a unique experience of self-exploration through sound, beat, and harmony.
In practical terms, Yishama is both a maker and a studio: it produces instruments, presents the team behind them, and features musicians who play its Pantams.

How buying works
There are two distinct paths, and they behave differently:
- Pre-order — Yishama produces Pantams on demand, so you place an order for an instrument to be made. This is the route for choosing from the wider range.
- Available Now — instruments for immediate purchase. Yishama states there are no fixed dates or times for these flash sales and suggests checking the page every few days.
The site also notes an affiliate program with a dedicated affiliates area, and lists a returns policy alongside its privacy policy.
Who it is for
Yishama suits players who want to order a Pantam directly from the maker and are willing to wait for an on-demand build, as well as those who prefer to watch the Available Now page for a ready instrument. If you want to hear the instruments in context before deciding, the Sound messengers section and the blog are the places to start. If you are still working out how to buy, the FAQ is the site’s own reference for purchasing questions.
Staying informed
Yishama runs a newsletter described as sharing guides, discounts, Pantam flash sales, and more. Signing up requires a name, email, and message, plus agreeing to join the mailing list. That is the most direct way to hear about flash sales, since the Available Now drops have no fixed schedule.
