What Kind of Geometry Dash Information Can I Find on the Official Geometry Dash Wiki?

Updated

The Official Geometry Dash Wiki (geometrydash.wiki.gg) is a community-maintained information hub covering both base-game and community content, with 852 articles and over 203,000 edits as of its own count. It is useful if you want reference material on levels, game mechanics, or community projects, and if you want a wiki you can register on and edit. It is not an official RobTop Games product page, and it does not sell the game.

Base-game content

The wiki documents the games in the series, with dedicated pages for:

  • Geometry Dash
  • Geometry Dash Lite
  • Geometry Dash Meltdown
  • Geometry Dash World
  • Geometry Dash SubZero

Beyond the game pages themselves, the wiki's stated scope is "base-game and community content," so you can expect articles on in-game elements such as levels, icons, and mechanics. The homepage does not enumerate every article type, so the reliable way to see what exists is to browse the category tree.

Community content

Community-made material is treated as first-class content, not an afterthought. Two examples visible on the homepage:

  • Demon List – a ranked list of the hardest community levels. The homepage shows entries such as Society (#1, first ranked 24 June 2026), Thinking Space II (#2), Amethyst (#3), Flamewall (#4), and Tidal Wave (#5), each with its first-ranked date.
  • User level videos – the wiki names GD Archives as its main source for user level videos, and JB as its partner for high-quality main level videos.

This split matters: if you want to know how a base-game mechanic works, you are in the base-game articles; if you want to know where a specific custom level sits in the difficulty hierarchy, the Demon List and related pages are the place.

How to navigate the wiki

The homepage describes three concrete navigation paths:

  1. Categories – in the left sidebar (or the floating list button on mobile) you can reach all articles on the wiki via categories. This is the most complete way to see the full scope.
  2. Featured Articles – highlighted content, including the Demon List rankings.
  3. Project Board – open tasks for missing articles, such as pages missing from the Gauntlets list and the Map Packs list (the homepage notes 5 Harder and 26 Dem… entries as examples of gaps).

If you are looking for something specific and do not know its page name, start with categories rather than search — the category tree reflects how editors have actually organized the content.

Contributing and account features

The wiki is editable by readers. To participate:

  • Register an account to edit and track your contributions.
  • Read the Community Portal for starting-out tips before your first edit.
  • Follow the article creation policy and proposal if you want to make a new page; new pages are created via the link in the Tools box at the end of the sidebar.
  • If a page is locked, you can still submit edits for review.

Site policy and a staff list are linked from the homepage, and there is a wiki Discord for coordination.

Practical notes

  • Theme and display: you can change the wiki theme using the Appearance button (or the moon icon on mobile) in the header.
  • Account and server tools: the wiki links a Geometry Dash Account Manager for managing your GD account and updating credentials, and Geometry Dash Browser for real-time data from the GD servers (by GD Colon). A Geometry Dash Font Generator, also by GD Colon, creates graphics using game-featured fonts.
  • Wiki host choice: the homepage explicitly asks readers to use the wiki.gg Redirect and/or Indie Wiki Buddy extensions, arguing that corporate wiki hosts keep old wikis open for ad revenue and undermine community self-determination. If you want to support this wiki specifically, that is the mechanism it recommends.

What you will not find here

The homepage gives no pricing, purchase, or download information for the games — it links to game pages, not a store. It also does not present itself as an official RobTop Games site; it is the community's wiki, run by volunteer contributors since 14 January 2014. For anything about buying or installing the game, go to the platform storefront instead.
