What Kind of Puyo Puyo Information Can I Find on Puyo Nexus?

Updated

Puyo Nexus is the largest English-speaking community site for Puyo Puyo players and fans, and it functions as a hub for news, reviews, wiki entries, event announcements, and links to related communities. If you want English-language coverage of Puyo Puyo games, character lore, or competitive events, this is the site to check.

News and Reviews

The site's front page carries dated news posts and editorial content about Puyo Puyo releases. Examples visible on the homepage include:

  • A Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 review (December 8, 2020)
  • A Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 story and gameplay early look (November 16, 2020), covering Story and Skill Battle modes plus Swap, Party, Fusion, and Big Bang
  • A release announcement for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 on current and next-gen consoles (August 26, 2020)
  • A Nintendo Direct note that Super Puyo Puyo 2 was added to the Nintendo Switch online subscription service's SNES lineup (September 4, 2019)

This means you can use the site to track launch dates, read impressions before buying, and catch announcements that may not get wide English coverage elsewhere.

Wiki Content

Puyo Nexus hosts a wiki with character-focused pages. The homepage activity feed shows entries such as:

  • Character galleries (for example, Rulue/Gallery, Suketoudara/Gallery, Schezo Wegey/Gallery)
  • Character history pages (for example, Rulue/History)
  • Game and term pages (for example, Puyo Puyo Narabe)

If you want character artwork, story background, or series lore organized by character, the wiki is the main draw.

Events and Community Activities

The site announces community events, such as the #PlayPuyo Winter Fever Classic held on December 14, 2019. If you follow competitive or casual Puyo Puyo gatherings, this is where scheduling and details appear.

Links to Other Communities

Puyo Nexus maintains a links section pointing to related sites and tools, including:

  • Puyo VS
  • Bayoen!
  • SEGA Nerds
  • SEGAbits

Who This Is For

Puyo Nexus suits English-speaking players who want a single place for game news, character wiki entries, event notices, and pointers to other fan communities. If you need official Sega support, store pages, or region-specific release details, check the linked official sources instead.
