What Kinds of Businesses Are Listed on HyeDirect?

Updated

HyeDirect is an Armenian business directory that connects Armenians in the United States with product and service providers. Based on its current listings, the directory covers a mix of consumer-facing and trade services — auto repair, auto body and paint, car leasing, children's indoor play, electrical work, and fuel-system compliance testing — with most recent entries concentrated in California cities such as North Hollywood, Alhambra, Northridge, Tujunga, Glendale, Ontario, and Reseda. The site states it aims to serve providers nationwide, so California's dominance reflects current listings rather than a geographic limit.

Business categories shown in current listings

The most recent listings on the site fall into these groups:

Category Example listing Location
Auto repair (foreign & domestic) First Class Collision Center North Hollywood, CA
Auto body and paint Hi M Auto Body and Paint Alhambra, CA
Car leasing and sales Elit Auto Group Northridge, CA
Children's indoor playground Little Sunshine Indoor Playground Tujunga, CA
Electrical services Friendly Electric Service Glendale, CA
Service station maintenance and cash register installation L&S Maintenance Inc Ontario, CA
Compliance testing (Stage I/II, EVR vapor recovery, monitor certification) LAN Testing – Compliance Specialists Reseda, CA
Informational website CelebrityNetWorth123.com Online only

The range suggests the directory is not limited to one industry. It mixes local trades (electricians, body shops), automotive businesses (repair, leasing), family-oriented services (playgrounds), and at least one web-based listing.

What information each listing includes

Listings are short and practical. Depending on what the business supplies, a listing can show:

  • Business name
  • Street address, including suite or unit numbers
  • Phone number
  • Fax number (for some trade and compliance businesses)
  • Website
  • Email address
  • A brief description of services, sometimes with a contact name ("Ask for Arthur," "Ask for Leo Smith!")

Not every listing includes every field — the CelebrityNetWorth123.com entry, for example, has only a website and description, with no physical address.

Where the listed businesses are located

The recent listings cluster in Southern California:

  • North Hollywood
  • Alhambra
  • Northridge
  • Tujunga
  • Glendale
  • Ontario
  • Reseda

Despite this concentration, the directory's stated purpose is to help Armenians "network with good product & service providers nationwide," so the California focus appears to reflect the current listing base rather than a stated geographic restriction.

How businesses get listed

HyeDirect describes a review process rather than open self-publishing. Companies submit their information and references for review to be considered for the "Preferred" or "Featured" network. The site presents itself as aiming to be "fast, easy & clean" as a directory.

If you are searching for a provider, the practical takeaway is that HyeDirect is most useful right now for Southern California service businesses — particularly auto-related and home/trade services — with the stated intent to expand to providers across the U.S.
