What Makes ReMinkie Memory Bears High Quality and Personalized?

Updated

ReMinkie Memory Bears are high quality because each bear is jointed with movable arms and legs and fully lined, and they are personalized through options such as monograms. The site also states that ReMinkie brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in making memory bears. These qualities matter most if you are turning sentimental fur, fabric, or neckties into a keepsake you intend to keep or pass down.

Quality details stated by ReMinkie

ReMinkie describes its memory bears with two construction features:

  • Jointed with movable arms and legs – the bear is not a single fixed form; the limbs can move.
  • Fully lined – the bear is finished with an inner lining.

The site presents these as reasons to choose ReMinkie, alongside more than 25 years of experience and expertise in making memory bears.

Personalization options

Personalization at ReMinkie includes adding monograms. The site states that bears can be monogrammed or personalized. If a monogram is part of what you want, that option is supported by the site’s description.

What ReMinkie can make from your materials

ReMinkie states it can transform any fur or fabric into bears, pillows, and throws. The site also lists these keepsake designs:

  • Custom pillows
  • Custom blankets and throws
  • Keepsake quilts
  • Custom keepsakes from horse coolers and blankets
  • Teddy bears made from many furs, neckties, and a wide variety of fabrics

How the hands-on process works

ReMinkie describes itself as very “hands on.” According to the site, as soon as your fur, fabric, or neckties are received, ReMinkie calls you and works together with you. ReMinkie also describes itself as a cottage industry with four specialized sewers working with Rita Glosser.

Why these keepsakes are considered heirlooms

ReMinkie states that its teddy bears and custom keepsakes have become heirlooms to be passed from one generation to another. The site also notes that its memory bears have received customer testimonials and have been highlighted on several TV networks on the news.

Practical takeaway

If you want a memory bear that is jointed with movable arms and legs, fully lined, and eligible for monogram personalization, ReMinkie’s stated features match those requirements. The same applies if you want to turn fur, fabric, neckties, horse coolers, or blankets into bears, pillows, throws, or quilts.
