What Ministries and Programs Does Asbury Church Provide for Kids, Youth, and Adults?

Asbury Church, a congregation of the Global Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas, organizes its ministries by age and life stage: Asbury Kids, Asbury Youth, and Adults at Asbury, alongside church-wide programs such as Missions, Community Garden, and RightNow Media. It also runs a preschool. The sections below explain what each one covers and how to take a next step, based on the church's own site content.

Asbury Kids

Asbury Kids is the children's ministry listed in the site's main navigation. The site presents it as one of the church's core ministry areas rather than a single event, so it functions as the umbrella for children's programming at Asbury.

If you are considering it for your family, the practical starting point is the same one the church offers all newcomers: fill out a Connect Card. That lets the staff follow up with details about kids' activities and answer questions you may have.

Asbury Youth

Asbury Youth is the ministry for students, listed separately from Asbury Kids in the navigation. Like the children's ministry, it is presented as an ongoing ministry area of the church rather than a one-time program.

For schedules, meeting times, and current activities, the Events page is the place the church points people to for upcoming happenings and ways to get connected.

Adults at Asbury

Adults at Asbury covers the church's adult ministry. The site also lists several church-wide resources and activities that adults commonly participate in:

• Missions — the church's missions involvement
• Community Garden — a garden ministry listed in the navigation
• RightNow Media — a media resource library listed under Resources
• Devotionals — devotional content under Resources
• Prayer — including submitting a prayer request or praying through the current prayer list
• Events — upcoming events across the church

Preschool

The church's site title and description identify Asbury Church as a church and preschool, and the description invites families looking for a preschool to check it out. If preschool enrollment is your reason for visiting the site, use the contact form or phone number below to ask about availability and next steps, since the site excerpt does not list enrollment details.

Worship, Events, and Getting Connected

Worship services are held Sundays at 8:00 and 10:30am, both in person and online via LiveStream. The site's main calls to action for newcomers are:

1. Fill out a Connect Card — to share who you are and ask questions.
2. Watch online — if you want to join the service remotely.
3. Check upcoming events — to find a way to get connected.
4. Read the Mission & Vision — to learn what the church stands for.
