EnglishWhat sections and content can I find on The Dark Fortress?
Updated
The Dark Fortress is a fan resource site for the Dark Angels Space Marine Chapter and the Unforgiven in Warhammer 40K wargaming. Its content is organised into a handful of named sections, each covering a different part of the hobby: site news, tactics, army lists, rules discussion, downloadable hobby materials, and model galleries. If you are looking for Dark Angels tactics, printable banners and decals, army lists, or inspiration for painting and modelling, the relevant material sits in one of the sections below.
The main sections at a glance
| Section | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Headquarters | The latest site updates, news, legal and other site info |
| Bulletins | Front line bulletins from the Dark Fortress garrison |
| Tactica Reports | Tactics, company dispositions, orders of battle |
| Tech Reports | Comment, army lists, special scenarios and rules, game statistics, book and rule reviews |
| Librarium | Downloadable printable banners and decals, DA names and reference, link banners, links |
| Oratorium | Inspirational image galleries featuring Unforgiven models |
What each section is for
Headquarters and Bulletins
Headquarters is the administrative side of the site: updates, news, and legal or site-related information. Bulletins are framed as dispatches from the Dark Fortress garrison, so they read as front-line notices rather than site admin.
Tactica Reports
This is the tactics section. It covers tactics, company dispositions, and orders of battle — useful if you are planning how to field your Dark Angels or want to see how companies are organised.
Tech Reports
The broadest section for gaming material. It includes comment pieces, army lists, special scenarios and rules, game statistics, and reviews of books and rules. If you want a ready-made list or a scenario to play, start here.
Librarium
The download and reference section. It offers printable banners and decals, Dark Angels names and reference material, link banners, and links. This is where you go for physical or printable hobby assets rather than tactics.
Oratorium
An image gallery section featuring Unforgiven models. Use it for painting and modelling inspiration rather than rules or lists.
Other parts of the site
Beyond the main content sections, the site also lists an Augurium section and a Connections area, along with useful links, link banners, RSS, Twitter, and Facebook. There is also a Patreon link, an email contact, and pages for article submissions, site map, legal disclaimer, privacy, terms of website use, and advertising.
