What Special Offers and Free Gifts Does godiva.com Currently Promote?

As of the current godiva.com homepage, GODIVA promotes five distinct offers: two "add-on" discounts that unlock at spending thresholds ($80+ and $85+), and three purchase-with-purchase free gifts tied to specific items (the Advent Calendar, the Lady Godiva Masterpiece Tin, and the 24-piece Cherry Cordials). A fourth free-gift offer is listed for the 50-piece Holiday Tin. All of these are described on the site as "godiva.com exclusives," meaning they are tied to ordering through the website rather than a physical boutique. The sections below break down each offer, what triggers it, and what you actually receive.

The two add-on offers (spend thresholds)

These are not free gifts — they are discounted add-ons that appear in your cart once your order total crosses a threshold.

Two things are worth noting. First, the thresholds differ by $5, so an order between $80 and $84.99 unlocks only the chocolate bar offer, not the bag. Second, both are described as "Special Offer in Cart," which means the discount is applied at the cart stage rather than as a sitewide price — you still need to add the item yourself.

The free-gift-with-purchase offers

These attach a complimentary item to a specific product purchase. The site lists them as separate promotions, each with its own qualifying item.

Advent Calendar → 6-piece Dark Chocolate Cherry Cordials

Buy the 2026 Holiday Chocolate Advent Calendar (24 pc., listed at $58.00) and receive a complimentary 6-piece Dark Chocolate Cherry Cordials box.

Lady Godiva Masterpiece Tin → Milk Chocolate Ganache Masterpiece Bag

Buy the Assorted Chocolate Lady Godiva Masterpiece Tin (55 piece, listed at $65.00) and receive a complimentary Milk Chocolate Ganache Masterpiece Bag.

24-piece Cherry Cordials → Dark Chocolate Raspberry Masterpiece Bag

Buy the Cherry Cordial Gift Box (24 pc, listed at $58.00) and receive a complimentary Dark Chocolate Raspberry Masterpiece Bag.

50-piece Holiday Tin → Holiday Star Ornament

Buy the Assorted Masterpiece Holiday Tin (50 pc., listed at $55.00) and receive a complimentary Holiday Star Ornament.

How to decide which offer matters to you

The free gifts are only useful if you already want the qualifying product — the gift is a bonus, not a reason to buy a box you wouldn't otherwise choose. A few practical comparisons:

• If you want an Advent Calendar anyway: the $58 calendar plus a free 6-piece Cherry Cordials box is the clearest value, since the calendar is a seasonal item you'd buy once.
• If you're building a gift basket: the 50-piece Holiday Tin ($55) comes with an ornament, which is a decorative extra rather than chocolate — useful if you want a keepsake, less so if you only care about the candy.
• If you're near a threshold: an order at $79.99 gets neither add-on; $80.00 gets the $5 chocolate bar; $85.00 gets both add-ons. If you're already close, adding a small item can unlock the lower-priced add-on.

What the site does not state

The homepage evidence does not specify an end date for any of these promotions, nor whether they stack with each other or with other discounts. It also does not state shipping thresholds, whether the free gifts apply to gift-card purchases, or whether the offers vary by region. Treat the offers as current-as-listed rather than guaranteed, and confirm the terms in your cart before completing checkout — the "Special Offer in Cart" language indicates the final eligibility is determined there.
