What the NCMD App and NCMD Merchandise Shop Offer

Updated

The NCMD app and the NCMD Merchandise Shop are two member-facing features of ncmd.co.uk. The app is listed as a dedicated NCMD app, and the shop is presented as the place for NCMD-branded merchandise. The site does not publish app feature lists, shop product catalogues, or prices in the available material, so treat both as entry points to check directly rather than as fully documented services.

The NCMD app

The site navigation includes a section headed "The NCMD app", which signals that the organisation maintains its own app for members. The available page evidence does not describe the app's functions, platforms, or login requirements.

What can be said with confidence:

  • The app is an official NCMD channel, listed alongside membership, clubs, and the Treasure Act information.
  • It sits within the site's main menu, so it is intended as a primary destination rather than a buried extra.

What cannot be confirmed from the source: whether the app requires paid membership, which app stores host it, or what tools it provides (for example membership card display or find logging). If you need those details, open the app section on the site or contact the NCMD directly before relying on it.

The NCMD Merchandise Shop

"The NCMD Merchandise Shop" appears as its own heading on the site, indicating a store for NCMD-branded items. The source gives no product list, no pricing, and no payment details, so no claim can be made about what is stocked or what it costs.

A practical way to use the shop entry:

  1. Open the Merchandise Shop link from the site menu.
  2. Check the current categories and any stated ordering or delivery terms on that page.
  3. Confirm price and availability there, since the main welcome page does not carry them.

Where these fit in the site structure

The NCMD site is organised around the hobby's practical needs: clubs, membership, the Treasure Act, and general advice. The app and shop sit in the same menu as those core sections, which tells you they are treated as part of the standard member experience rather than side projects.

Entry What the site indicates What to verify yourself
The NCMD app An official NCMD app exists and is a menu item Features, platforms, membership requirement
The NCMD Merchandise Shop A shop for NCMD merchandise exists Products, prices, ordering and delivery
Membership and clubs Core sections covering joining and local groups Fees and club contacts on their own pages

A sensible next step

If your goal is to use the app or buy merchandise, start from the two named menu entries on ncmd.co.uk rather than from search results, then confirm membership status and any costs on the linked pages. The site's own news items, such as monthly finds competition results, show the organisation actively engages members, but they do not substitute for the app or shop pages themselves.
