What Types of Exam Preparation Materials Does Testking Provide?

Testking offers four main formats of IT certification exam preparation: exam questions and answers, an interactive testing engine, video courses with lab scenarios, and PDF study guides with MP3 audio exams. All are delivered as instant downloads, and the site states that materials come with 90 days of free automatic updates. These formats suit different study styles, so the right choice depends on whether you learn best by drilling questions, simulating the exam environment, watching labs, or reading and listening on the go.

Exam Questions and Answers

The core product is a bank of "real IT exam questions & answers" drawn from certification exams, according to the site. This is the format to choose if your priority is familiarizing yourself with question phrasing and answer patterns before test day. The site claims the pool is kept current and that updates download automatically to your computer for 90 days after purchase.

Interactive Testing Engine

Testking describes an interactive testing engine that simulates the exam environment. This matters if you want to practice under time pressure and get used to the interface and pacing of a real exam rather than reviewing questions passively. It is the closest option to a rehearsal of the actual test session.

Video Courses with Lab Scenarios

Video courses include what the site calls "intense authentic lab scenarios," intended to make you familiar with the testing environment. Choose this format if your exam involves hands-on configuration or troubleshooting and you learn better by watching procedures demonstrated than by reading them.

PDF Study Guides and MP3 Audio Exams

Materials are also available as easy-to-read, printable PDF study guides and as audio exams in MP3 format. The PDF suits structured reading and annotation; the audio format suits review during commutes or other hands-off time. Both are download-based, so you can use them offline.

Quick Comparison

What the Site Claims About Coverage and Results

Testking lists a very broad range of certification providers—including Microsoft, CompTIA, VMware, Amazon, Cisco, ISC, and many others—so you can check whether your specific exam is listed before choosing a format. The site also states 24 years in business, more than 331,215 customers, and a 99.6% exam pass rate. These are the vendor's own marketing figures; treat them as claims to verify against your own needs rather than independently confirmed results.

How to Decide

Start by identifying your exam in Testking's provider list. If your exam is hands-on, prioritize the video courses with labs plus the testing engine. If it is knowledge-based and your schedule is fragmented, the PDF guide and MP3 audio may cover more ground per hour. If you mainly need to reduce exam-day anxiety, the testing engine alone may be sufficient. Because pricing and access terms are not specified on the page reviewed, confirm cost, licensing, and update terms on the site before purchasing.
