What Useful Links and Services Are Available on the UTHM Portal?

Updated

The official UTHM portal (uthm.edu.my) is the main navigation hub for prospective students, current students, staff and visitors. It groups links into study pathways, academic and research resources, campus services, and news and community sections. Use it when you need to find an official entry point for applying, studying, researching or staying informed about Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.

Study at UTHM

The "STUDY @ UTHM" section is the starting point for anyone exploring programmes or applying. It covers:

  • Postgraduate study
  • Undergraduate programmes
  • International Students — including a dedicated application page for new undergraduate international students, Semester II, Academic Session 2026/2027
  • Executive and Part Time Study
  • APEL (accreditation of prior experiential learning)

For Malaysian applicants, the portal highlights the Bachelor Degree Intake for 2026/2027, with applications open for Semester II, Session 2026/2027. The page advises applicants to refer to the List of Programme Offered before applying, then use the "Click to Apply" link.

The portal names these broad fields:

News, Events and Feedback

The homepage carries Latest News, Events (for example, the 26th UTHM Convocation Ceremony on 28 November), and links to UTHM Johor's official TikTok and Facebook pages. There is also a survey on the effectiveness of the UTHM portal for users who want to give feedback.

How to Use the Portal

  1. Identify your goal: applying, studying, researching, or finding a service.
  2. Use the matching section above — for example, "STUDY @ UTHM" for admissions.
  3. Before applying, open the List of Programme Offered and confirm your programme and intake.
  4. Use the application link on the relevant study page.

A common pitfall is applying before checking the programme list, or using the Malaysian-student intake page when you are an international applicant — international applicants have a separate application page for Semester II, 2026/2027.
