What happens on the night
The formal meeting begins at 7:30pm in the Copper Fox room. Before that, members and guests often gather for dinner in the hotel bistro from 6pm onwards.
If you plan to join the dinner, the club asks that you tick "yes" on the registration form so numbers can be estimated. The registration form is the same one used for meeting attendance, so it covers both the dinner and the meeting itself.
If you are a visitor
Visitors are explicitly welcome at LROCV meetings, but the club asks that you make contact in advance. Email the Membership Officer, Nelson, at [email protected] to let him know you would like to attend.
This step matters because the club needs to manage room capacity and dinner bookings, and because a first-time visitor may need directions or an introduction on arrival.
A note on dates
The club's website lists an upcoming meeting on Thursday 1st October, 2026 at the same venue. Because meeting dates follow the "first Thursday" rule, you can work out future dates yourself, but it is still worth confirming against the club's own listing or by emailing the Membership Officer, since public holidays or venue clashes can occasionally shift arrangements.
Background on the club

It began as an overseas branch of the Land-Rover Owners' Club of England, and now has approximately 650 members. Its stated purposes include promoting the interests of Land Rover owners and drivers, supporting four-wheel drive touring, running training programs and social events, and preserving the Land-Rover marque.
The club's postal address is PO Box 962, Mount Waverley, Victoria, 3149.
