Where and When Does Loyalist Flowers Offer Same-Day Flower Delivery?

Updated

Loyalist Flowers offers same-day flower delivery to Kingston, ON and the surrounding communities of Amherstview, Bath, Glenburnie, Odessa, and Westbrook. To qualify, you need to place your order before the daily cutoff time: 2:00 PM Monday through Friday, or 1:00 PM on Saturday. The shop is closed on Sunday, so no same-day orders go out that day.

Same-day delivery areas

The shop serves Kingston and these nearby towns:

  • Amherstview, ON
  • Bath, ON
  • Glenburnie, ON
  • Kingston, ON
  • Odessa, ON
  • Westbrook, ON

Loyalist Flowers also notes that it serves Frontenac County and other nearby areas. If your delivery address falls outside the listed towns, it's worth confirming coverage before ordering.

Order cutoff times

Same-day delivery depends on getting your order in before the cutoff for that day. The store's posted hours and cutoffs are:

Day Store hours Delivery cutoff
Monday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2:00 PM
Tuesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2:00 PM
Wednesday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2:00 PM
Thursday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2:00 PM
Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2:00 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM 1:00 PM
Sunday Closed No same-day delivery

Two things to note:

  • The cutoff is earlier than closing time, so an order placed at 4:00 PM on a weekday won't go out that day.
  • Saturday's cutoff is 1:00 PM, an hour earlier than weekdays.

How to use this when ordering

  1. Confirm your recipient's address is in Kingston or one of the listed surrounding towns.
  2. Check the current day and time against the cutoff table above.
  3. Place your order before the cutoff to get same-day delivery; otherwise it moves to the next business day.
  4. If you're ordering on a Sunday, plan for delivery on the next open day (Monday).

Practical considerations

  • Occasions covered: The shop arranges flowers for birthdays, sympathy and funerals, romance, and just-because gifts, so same-day delivery applies across these categories rather than a single product type.
  • Pricing: Bouquets shown on the site start from around $69.95 and go up, with a "Premium Collection" also available. Prices are listed as starting points and may vary by arrangement.
  • Contact for edge cases: For addresses outside the listed towns or unusual timing, the store lists its address at 4451 Bath Road, Kingston, ON K7N 1A3 and phone at (613) 634-1626.

The key takeaway: same-day delivery is available across Kingston and its neighboring towns, but only if you order before 2:00 PM on weekdays or 1:00 PM on Saturday — and not at all on Sunday.
