Where Arkansas Northeastern College Students Find Transcripts, Payments, and the Bookstore

Updated

Arkansas Northeastern College (ANC) puts its most-used student services in the site's top navigation and "More" menu: Transcript Request, Bookstore, and Make Online Payment are listed directly, alongside entry points to the ANC Portal and Brightspace. The Business Office handles payments and is currently relocated to the ANC Library while the John P. Sullins Administration Building concourse is renovated. Use the table below to go straight to the right service.

How to complete each task

Requesting a transcript

Select Transcript Request from the top navigation. Before you start, confirm the exact name and address of each recipient (for example, an admissions office at a four-year school), since transcript orders typically require that information up front. If you are unsure whether an unofficial copy will do, check with the receiving institution first — an unofficial copy from the Portal may be faster for your own records.

Making a payment

Use Make Online Payment for the online route. If you need a receipt, a payment plan discussion, or help with a charge, the Business Office is the contact point — and note that it is temporarily housed in the ANC Library, not its usual spot in the Sullins Administration Building. Plan for that if you are walking in during the renovation period.

Getting books

The Bookstore link connects you to course materials. Bring your course schedule (available through the Portal) so you can match titles and editions to the right sections.

Using the Portal and Brightspace

The ANC Portal is the entry point for student account functions, and Brightspace is where course content lives. If a link does not load, try the other system first — some tasks, like viewing grades, sit in the Portal while assignments sit in Brightspace.

Practical things to know before you go

  • Check closures first. ANC posts weather and emergency notices on its homepage; a recent notice stated the college would remain closed on a given Monday due to hazardous campus conditions from overnight refreezing. Campus status can change quickly in winter, so check the homepage banner before traveling.
  • The 17:1 student-to-faculty ratio is worth knowing when you need help: with that ratio, asking an instructor or advisor directly is a realistic route for questions about registration or coursework.
  • Registration timing: the site lists Spring 2027 registration opening November 2, 2026, with an Apply Now link for new students. If you are already admitted, confirm your registration window with your advisor rather than assuming the posted date applies to you.
  • Cost questions: ANC describes itself as the most affordable college in Arkansas and highlights that students earn more after graduation. For your specific bill, tuition rate, or fee schedule, the Business Office is the authoritative source — the homepage does not publish a price list.

Common snags

  • Looking for the Business Office in the wrong building. During renovation it is in the Library; staff or signage on campus will redirect you if you go to Sullins first.
  • Confusing the Portal with Brightspace. If you cannot find a form or a grade, check the other system before contacting support.
  • Ordering a transcript without recipient details. Gather names and addresses first; a partial order usually has to be restarted.
  • Assuming campus is open. Weather closures are announced on the homepage — verify before an in-person visit.

For anything not covered by these links, the site's Advising, Admissions, and Support entries in the menu are the next stops, and the Consumer Information page collects the college's required disclosures if you need official policy details.
