Where Current Brandon University Students Find Key Online Services
Updated
Current Brandon University students can reach the main online services from the Student Resources list on the brandonu.ca homepage. That list links directly to course calendars, registration guides, online registration, Moodle, the exam timetable, scholarships and bursaries, campus books, tax receipts, parking passes, the "Pay Your BU Account" page, student services, residence, the student portal, applying to graduate, and convocation information. If you are already on the site, scroll to the Student Resources section rather than searching the main navigation.
Registration and course planning
The Student Resources list groups the academic planning links together:
- Course Calendars — the official listing of courses and program requirements.
- Registration Guides — step-by-step help for the registration process.
- Register Online — the entry point for actually registering in courses.
- Exam Timetable — where exam dates and times are published.
A practical sequence at the start of a term: check the course calendar for the course you need, read the registration guide if you are unsure of the process, then complete registration through the online registration link. Confirm your exam dates on the exam timetable once the term schedule is set.
Coursework and day-to-day tools
- Moodle — the login link for course materials and online course activity.
- Student Portal — the central account area for student records and services.
- Webmail — listed in the top toolbar links, alongside the campus map and contact page.
If a Moodle or portal login fails, the top toolbar's Contact Us link and the footer's Log in link are the two places to start troubleshooting.
Money, parking and documents
- Pay Your BU Account — a dedicated payment page linked from Student Resources (brandonu.ca/pay/).
- Parking Pass — the link for arranging campus parking.
- Tax Receipts — where tuition tax receipts are accessed.
- Scholarships/Bursaries — the awards page, also promoted on the homepage under "Scholarships."
The site does not publish payment methods or fees on the homepage, so check the payment page itself for accepted options and amounts.
Finishing your degree
Near the end of your program, the same list covers Apply to Graduate and Convocation Information. Apply through the graduate application link first, then use the convocation page for ceremony details.
Other services worth knowing
Student Services and Residence each have their own entries in the list, and Campus Books appears both there and under Related Sites. The homepage also surfaces current news and an events calendar (for example, Bobcats games and public lectures), which is useful for campus life beyond the service links.
