Where Is IBSB Located and How Can I Contact or Follow the School?

Updated

The International British School of Bucharest (IBSB) is at 21-25 Agricultori St., District 2, Bucharest, Romania. You can reach the school by phone at +40 21 253 16 98 or by email at [email protected]. For day-to-day information, the school website offers a contact form, a school calendar, a news feed, and links to its Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts.

Contact form "Contact Us" section on the website

The site lists the contact form under a "Staff Contact Us" heading, with the instruction to complete the fields to make an enquiry. The same contact details appear again in the footer, so the address, phone, and email are consistent across the page.

Following School Life Online

IBSB maintains an active presence on three platforms, linked from the site under "On Social Media":

  • Facebook — described as the place for daily school updates
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram

The website itself also publishes a News Feed. Recent items shown on the homepage include a parent presentation on overcoming guilt and a parent workshop on revision and mental health, each with a "Read more" link. If you want a sense of the school's rhythm before visiting, the news feed and social accounts are the quickest way to see what has been happening recently.

Calendar and Events

The School Calendar section shows current and future events. At the time the page was captured, it stated that no upcoming events were scheduled, while still displaying a monthly calendar view (October 2026) with a "See all events" link. This suggests the calendar is maintained on a rolling basis, so it is worth checking again closer to the start of a term rather than treating an empty list as final.

Admission and General Information Entrances

If your reason for contacting the school is enrolment, the site separates admission material from general information:

  • Admission info: Application Forms, Apply to IBSB, Visits and Enquiries, School Fees
  • General info: IBSB Curriculum, School Policies, Uniforms, GDPR Privacy Policy
  • Other: Contact Us, Employment, Frequently Asked Questions, School Calendar

A "Sign-in Portal" link is also present for existing school users. The site does not publish fee amounts or application deadlines on the homepage; those sit behind the "School Fees" and "Application Forms" links, so plan to open those pages or ask the office directly.

A Practical Sequence

  1. Check the School Calendar and News Feed to see current activity.
  2. Use the contact form or email [email protected] for a specific question; phone +40 21 253 16 98 if you need a faster response.
  3. For enrolment, start from Visits and Enquiries and Application Forms rather than the general contact form.
  4. Follow the Facebook, LinkedIn, or Instagram links for ongoing updates between formal communications.

One caveat: the page gives no opening hours for the office or reception, so if you plan to visit in person at Agricultori St., confirm timing by phone or email first.
