Where to Find DLMPST Statutes, Commissions, Interest Groups, and Past Congress Information

Updated

All of these resources are reachable from the main navigation on dlmps.org. The site's top menu lists Council Members, Contacts, Commissions, Interest Groups, Statutes, History, and a set of Congress pages (2027, 2023, 2019), alongside Activities (small conference grants and the [LOGIC] List), Memorandum Documents, and a Login area. The table below maps each item to what you'll find there.

Congress Information in Detail

The 2027 Congress page is the live hub for CLMPST in Kobe, Japan, scheduled for August 23–28. The call for papers is open, with a submission deadline of November 15, 2026, and the submission site is linked from the page. Proposals for papers and symposia are invited across logic, philosophy of science, and philosophy of technology; the call particularly encourages cross-disciplinary proposals, speakers from different countries or regions, work on public engagement and social implications, and reflection on different knowledge systems. Questions go to Kevin Elliott (kce(at)msu(dot)edu) or Fenrong Liu (fenronguva(at)gmail(dot)com).

For earlier meetings, use Past Congresses and open the 2019 Congress or 2023 Congress entries to review those programs.

Related Calls Worth Knowing

Two other items on the site are easy to miss if you only scan the menu:

  • IUHPST Essay Prize in History and Philosophy of Science — a biennial competition encouraging fresh methodological thinking in history and philosophy of science and related areas. The submission deadline is January 15, 2027; full details are on the Commissions page.
  • DLMPST Council and Officer nominations (2028–2031) — member organizations are invited to submit nominations for officers and council members for the 2028–2031 term. Questions on conditions and procedure go to DLMPST(dot)nominations(at)gmail(dot)com.

Practical Tips

  • Start from the top menu rather than searching; every item in the table above is a direct menu entry.
  • If a page seems missing, check Memorandum Documents and Contacts first — governance material and routing contacts are split across those sections.
  • The Login area is separate from the public pages; public statutes, commission, and congress information does not require it.
