Where to Find Fighter Records, Event Schedules and Rankings on Sherdog.com

Updated

Sherdog.com organizes the three things you asked about into separate top-level sections: Fight Finder for fighter records and bout histories, UFC Events / PFL Events / Full Calendar for schedules, and Rankings for divisional, pound-for-pound and women's lists. All three are reachable from the main navigation bar, so you can move between them without hunting through news articles.

Fighter Records and Bout Histories: Fight Finder

Fight Finder is Sherdog's fighter database and the fastest route to a record. Open the Fight Finder item in the top navigation; the menu also lists a Fight Finder Guide, which explains how to use the search tool.

  • What you get: a fighter's win-loss record and bout history, which is what most readers come for when checking a name they saw in a news story or on a fight card.
  • How to use it: search the fighter's name, then open the profile to review the record and past results.
  • Common snag: name spelling. Try alternate spellings or just the surname if a full-name search returns nothing.

If you only need a single event's results rather than a career history, the event pages (below) carry play-by-play and round scoring, which is often more detailed than the record line alone.

Event Schedules: UFC Events, PFL Events and the Full Calendar

Sherdog splits its schedule across three entries under the Fight Finder menu group:

Section Use it for
UFC Events Upcoming and recent UFC cards
PFL Events Professional Fighters League cards
Full Calendar A combined view of scheduled events

The homepage also surfaces current coverage directly — for example, recent items on UFC Edmonton play-by-play and results, PFL Chicago coverage, and post-event "matches to make" pieces. Those articles are useful for context, but the calendar pages are the reliable place to confirm what is scheduled.

Rankings: Divisional, Pound-for-Pound and Women's

The Rankings menu holds three lists:

  • Divisional Rankings — fighters ranked within their weight classes.
  • Pound-for-Pound Rankings — the overall men's list.
  • Women's Pound-for-Pound Rankings — the women's list, updated as results come in (the site has recently noted Jasudavicius entering the WMMA pound-for-pound Top 10).

Rankings shift after events, so check the date on any list before citing it. If you are comparing a ranking against a fighter's record, cross-check in Fight Finder — a short-notice loss or a move between divisions can explain a position that looks odd at first glance.

Odds and How to Watch

Two more sections help around event time:

  • Fight Odds (under the More menu) for betting lines on upcoming bouts.
  • How to Watch for viewing information on scheduled events.

Neither replaces the calendar for confirming a date, but together they answer the practical questions that come up the week of a card.

A Quick Workflow

For a typical check — say, a fighter announced for an upcoming UFC card:

  1. Open Fight Finder and search the name to confirm the record and recent results.
  2. Open UFC Events or the Full Calendar to confirm the date and opponent.
  3. Check Divisional Rankings to see where the fighter sits, and Fight Odds if you want the line.

Sherdog has covered MMA since 1997 and also runs a Forum (UFC Discussion, Worldwide MMA Discussion, Off Topic) plus podcasts such as Shillan & Duffy and The Sheehan Show, so discussion and audio analysis sit alongside the reference sections rather than inside them.
