Where to Find GeoDuels Help, Changelog, and How-to-Play Info
Updated
GeoDuels puts its help resources in the footer of the main Play page at geoduels.io. From there you can reach How to Play, Changelog, Help, Community, and Donate — plus the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The site is currently labeled v2.2.2, and the latest news item is GeoDuels v1.1, which has no changelog content yet.
The main entry point: the Play page
Everything starts at geoduels.io. The page is built around the Duel heading and a top navigation with Play Maps Friends Top 0, plus mode buttons for Play Ranked Duel, Play Casual, Singleplayer, and Play Daily Quiz (marked "Very Soon"). Below that sits a Trending Maps section with a "View all" link and a loading state for trending maps.
The footer is where the informational links live:
| Link | What it's for |
|---|---|
| How to Play | Basic instructions for the game |
| Changelog | Version updates, including GeoDuels v1.1 |
| Help | Support section |
| Community | Staying involved with other players |
| Donate | Supporting the site (footer text: "Help GeoDuels stay ad-free!") |
| Privacy Policy | Data practices |
| Terms of Service | Usage rules |
How to Play
Use the How to Play link in the footer when you want the basic instructions before jumping into a match. This is the right page if you're new and want to understand the core loop — guessing locations from map imagery — before trying Play Ranked Duel or Play Casual.
If you already know the format from similar games, you can skip straight to the mode buttons on the Play page and learn by playing.
Changelog and version tracking
The Changelog link in the footer is where version updates are documented. Two version signals appear on the page:
- GeoDuels v1.1 — listed under "Latest News," but the page states "No changelog content yet," so there are no release notes to read for it at this time.
- v2.2.2 — shown in the footer, which is the current site version label.
So if you're checking what changed, the Changelog page is the intended destination, but expect the v1.1 entry to be empty until notes are added.
Help and support
The Help link in the footer is the support entry point. Use it for questions the How to Play page doesn't cover. The footer groups it alongside Community and Donate, so all three are reachable from the same area at the bottom of the Play page.
Community and Donate
- Community — for staying involved with other GeoDuels players.
- Donate — the footer frames this as keeping the site ad-free: "Help GeoDuels stay ad-free!" There's no pricing or payment detail on the page, so treat this as a voluntary support link rather than a paid tier.
