Where to Find Installation and Setup Guides on the Project Fika Wiki

Updated

The Project Fika Wiki home page (wiki.project-fika.com) is the entry point for all Fika documentation. If you want to install Fika, start with the GET STARTED link in the "Looking to install Fika?" section. For configuration, headless clients, or connection troubleshooting, use the Quick links section, which points to dedicated pages for each task. A full documentation index is also available via llms.txt.

Installation: Start Here

The home page's "Looking to install Fika?" section links directly to a GET STARTED page. That is the intended first stop for new users before touching configuration or networking.

Quick Links by Task

The Quick links section groups the main setup topics. Match your task to the page:

Task Wiki page to open
Understand how co-op works before installing How does Fika work?
Common questions and walkthroughs FAQ and Guides
Adjust Fika settings after install Configure Fika
Run a dedicated/headless host Set up headless client
Connect when direct connection fails Connect using NAT Punching
Use the companion web tool Fika Web App

Full Documentation Index

The home page states that the complete documentation index is available at llms.txt (relative to the wiki). Use it when you need a page that is not listed in Quick links, or to see the full structure of the wiki in one place. The home page also notes it is available as Markdown.

Before You Start: Scope and Support

  • Fika is an SPT mod for co-op play in Escape from Tarkov — quests, item sharing, and fights against PMCs, Scavs, and bosses are done together.
  • Do not contact SPT for Fika-related questions. The wiki directs all support to the Project Fika Discord server, which covers both SPT and Fika.
  • Licensing (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) restricts commercial use, donations/monetization of your server, massive public servers, and use of handcrafted art assets without permission. This matters if you plan to host for anyone beyond friends.

Practical Path

  1. Open the wiki home page.
  2. Follow GET STARTED to install.
  3. Return to Quick links and open Configure Fika to set your options.
  4. If friends cannot connect directly, open Connect using NAT Punching.
  5. For a always-on host, open Set up headless client.
  6. Keep FAQ and Guides and llms.txt handy for anything not covered above.
