Where to Find ITMA's Exhibitions and Latest News or Events

Updated

On itma.ie, exhibitions and current updates live in two separate areas: the Exhibitions section (including Christy Moore: How Do Songs Live?, Saothar Port, Drawing from the Well, From the Bridge, and Manuscripts) and the Latest section, which gathers news, blog posts, recent public acquisitions (RPA), and events. Both are reachable from the main navigation, and the Latest area has a "View all" link to browse the full list.

Exhibitions

The site's navigation lists Exhibitions as its own entry, with a More Exhibitions link for the wider set. Named exhibitions shown in the navigation include:

  • Christy Moore: How Do Songs Live? — a current exhibition, also promoted in the site's excerpt
  • Saothar Port
  • Drawing from the Well (Irish: Taoscadh ón Tobar)
  • From the Bridge
  • Manuscripts

To view one, select it from the Exhibitions menu; to see everything on offer, use More Exhibitions.

Latest News, Blog, Events, and Acquisitions

The Latest area is where time-sensitive material is collected. Its own description covers:

  • Latest News
  • Blog
  • Events
  • RPA Collections (recent public acquisitions)

A View all (610) link opens the complete list of latest items, so you can browse beyond whatever is currently featured on the homepage.

Practical Notes

  • The homepage surfaces a rotating selection of latest items; the View all link is the reliable way to see the complete archive of updates rather than only the featured few.
  • Exhibition pages and Latest entries are separate, so an exhibition announcement may appear in Latest while the exhibition itself sits under Exhibitions — check both if you're looking for something specific.
  • The site is available in Irish (GA) and English (EN) via the language toggle, and accessibility options (font sizing, contrast, monochrome) sit in the same header area if you need them while browsing.
