EnglishWhere to Find Official ConFuzzled News and Information
Updated
The official source for ConFuzzled news and information is confuzzled.org.uk. Use the site's Latest news section for announcements, and treat the site itself as the primary reference for convention dates and venue details rather than third-party summaries. The site currently lists the next convention as 28th May – 1st June 2027 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
What the Official Site Confirms
ConFuzzled describes itself as the UK's largest furry convention, held every year at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, with its first convention in 2008. These are the details worth taking from the official site directly:
| Detail | Official information |
|---|---|
| Official website | confuzzled.org.uk |
| Convention | ConFuzzled, UK furry convention |
| Venue | Hilton Birmingham Metropole |
| Next dates shown | 28th May – 1st June 2027 |
| News location | "Latest news" section on the site |
How to Check for Updates
- Go to confuzzled.org.uk.
- Find the Latest news section — this is where the site posts announcements.
- Confirm dates and venue against the site's own listing before making plans or bookings.
- Re-check the site closer to the event, since the news section is the place new announcements appear.
Expected result: you are reading dates and venue information published by the convention itself, not a paraphrase.
Why Not Rely on Unofficial Summaries
Third-party write-ups, social posts, and aggregator pages can lag behind or simplify official announcements. For anything that affects travel or accommodation — dates, venue, schedule changes — the convention's own site is the checkable reference. If a summary and the official site disagree, the official site is the one to trust.
Common Pitfalls
- Assuming the listed dates are final forever. The site shows 28th May – 1st June 2027 as the next convention; confirm again via Latest news before booking.
- Using a search snippet instead of the page. Snippets can be stale; open confuzzled.org.uk and read the news section.
- Mixing up the venue. The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is the stated venue — verify it on the official page rather than from memory or a repost.
For the basics of what the event is and what attendees can expect, start from the official site and its news updates, then use those confirmed details as the basis for any further planning.
