Where to Find Pricing, Gear Lists, and Contact Information on the Top Gun Treks Website

Updated

Top Gun Treks (topguntreks.com) puts pricing, gear lists, and contact details in its top navigation menu. The site lists separate price pages for black bear baited hunts and brown bear baited hunts, a gear list page, a videos page, and a contact page, plus a phone number shown as 907-355-4778. Use the menu links below to go straight to each section; the site does not publish prices directly on the home page, so you need to open the individual price pages to see them.

Pricing Pages

The site separates pricing by hunt type rather than offering one general rate sheet. From the navigation you can reach:

  • Black Bear Baited Hunt Prices — a dedicated page for baited black bear hunt pricing.
  • Brown Bear Baited Hunt Prices — a dedicated page for baited brown bear hunt pricing.

The home page also links to a general Prices page. For moose, Dall sheep, and other hunts, start from the Prices page and the individual hunt pages under Hunt Info, since the menu only names separate price pages for the two baited bear hunts. The site does not state prices in the text available, so treat the price pages as the only place to confirm current rates.

Gear List and Videos

  • Gear List — a menu item that covers what to bring on a guided hunt. Check it before booking so you can plan equipment around the specific hunt and season.
  • Videos — a menu item with hunt footage. Useful for seeing terrain, camp conditions, and the animals before you commit.

Contact Information

  • Phone: 907-355-4778, shown in the site header and repeated as a "Call for Info" prompt.
  • Contact page: reachable from the main menu for inquiries.
  • Business base: Wasilla, Alaska. Top Gun Treks is described as a family-run business owned and operated by Bob Jewett, a lifetime Alaska resident and registered guide.

Hunt Info and Guides Sections

For planning beyond price and gear, the menu includes:

Section What it covers
Our Guides Background on the guiding team, including Bob Jewett
Hunt Info Overview of guided hunts and hunt areas
Black Bear Hunting / Black Bear Baited Hunts Black bear hunt details
Brown Bear Hunting / Brown Bear Baited Hunts Brown bear hunt details
Alaska Moose Hunting Moose hunt details
Dall Sheep Hunting Sheep hunt details
Taxidermy Taxidermy services (Bob Jewett is also a taxidermist)

The site states that hunts take place in wilderness areas accessed by airplane, across units 14, 16, and 20, and that hunts are fair chase. It also notes a 90% success rate for moose hunters over the last ten years and that only a limited number of hunters are scheduled into camps each year.

Practical Notes

  • Start at the Prices page, then open the specific baited bear price page if that is your hunt.
  • Confirm current pricing and availability by phone at 907-355-4778, since the site presents price pages as the reference and does not list rates in its general text.
  • Review the Gear List and Videos before finalizing a booking to align equipment and expectations with the season and terrain.
