Where to Find Terraria News, Updates, and Community Links on terraria.org

Updated

On terraria.org, the official site for Terraria, news and update announcements are posted in the News section of the homepage, while community resources are reached through the top navigation links to Wiki and Forums. Social media links to Twitter and Facebook appear on the homepage, and the Store link in the top navigation leads to the official store page. These are the main entry points the site itself provides for following the game and connecting with other players.

News and update announcements

The homepage News area is where the site publishes update announcements and patch notes. Each item has a short summary and a "Read More" link to the full post. Examples visible on the page include:

  • Terraria: Labor of Love Out Now! — the announcement of the latest update, with a link to all the details (dated September 27, 2022).
  • Terraria 1.4.3.3 – Steam Deck Optimization Update! — Steam Deck optimizations plus quality-of-life fixes for everyone (dated February 24, 2022).
  • Terraria x Don't Starve Together Update Out Now! — details on a crossover update (dated November 15, 2021).

To check for the newest patch notes, start at the homepage News list and open the "Read More" link on the most recent item. The dates on each entry let you confirm how current the information is.

Community resources: Wiki and Forums

The top navigation bar includes direct links to Wiki and Forums:

  • Wiki — the community reference for game content and mechanics.
  • Forums — the discussion space for players.

Both are listed alongside Home, News, About, Credits, Media, and Store in the site's main navigation, so they can be reached from any page that shows that menu.

Social media and store links

  • Twitter and Facebook links appear on the homepage for following official posts and updates.
  • Store in the top navigation leads to the official store page.

Platform and server links

The site also lists the platforms the game is available on — XBLA, Switch, PSN, PSVita, PC, Android, iOS, and Amazon — and provides PC Dedicated Server and Mobile Dedicated Server links in the footer for players who want to run their own servers.
