Where to Find the About, Support, and Back-to-Game Links on “Where Is This Dish From?”

The game screen on englishsandwich.github.io includes three utility links: about, support us ❤, and back to game!. They appear alongside the game controls rather than in a separate menu. The about link opens site information, support us ❤ is the route for supporting the project, and back to game! returns you to the main game view. The footer credits “© English Sandwich 2021.”

How the links fit into a play session

The game opens with a welcome message — “Welcome to the game! Can you guess where each food dish is from? Click below to start.” — and a Start! button. Once a round is underway, the question screen shows the Question, Explanation, and four Answer options, plus a Next control for moving on.

The three utility links sit in the same area as these game controls. A typical path looks like this:

  1. Land on the page and read the welcome text.
  2. Click Start! to begin.
  3. Answer using one of the four answer options, then read the explanation.
  4. Click Next to continue.
  5. Use back to game! whenever you have stepped away to the about or support pages.

Common sticking points

  • “back to game!” only makes sense mid-session. It is a return link, not a restart button. If you want a fresh start, reload the page and use Start! again.
  • The support link is a destination, not a checkout. The page does not state what happens after you click it, so treat it as the project’s support entry point rather than a confirmed payment flow.
  • The footer year is a credit, not a status indicator. “© English Sandwich 2021” identifies the owner and year; it does not tell you whether the game is still being updated.
  • No separate navigation bar is described. If you are looking for a menu, check the game screen itself — the links are presented there.
