Where to Find the KoboldAI Community and Support

Updated

The main community and support channel for KoboldAI is its Discord Server. The official KoboldAI website points to it under the Community section, describing it as the place to go for "support, discussions, and sharing." If you want help troubleshooting, comparing setups, or talking with other users, Discord is the intended destination.

What the Official Site Says

The KoboldAI site is organized around four foundations:

  • KoboldCPP — a local LLM API server for driving your backend
  • KoboldAI Lite — a lightweight interface for accessing your AI API endpoints
  • KoboldAI.net — KoboldAI Lite delivered as a free web service, with the same flexibilities as running it locally
  • Discord Server — listed alongside these as the community hub

The site's Community section states: "Consider joining our community for support, discussions, and sharing on our Discord Server."

How to Join

  1. Go to the KoboldAI website.
  2. Find the Community section (also linked in the site's table of contents).
  3. Follow the Discord Server link to join.

Once inside, you can ask questions, discuss setups, and share what you're working on with other users.

Where to Look for Other Help

The site also lists Guides, which cover topics such as:
