Where to Find the Tilted Online Documentation and Getting-Started Guide

Updated

The Tilted Online wiki (wiki.tiltedphoques.com) is the official documentation site for the team's multiplayer mods for Bethesda games. To get started, open the Getting Started page linked at the end of the Overview page; for a full list of every page, use the documentation index at llms.txt referenced at the top of the Overview. Each page is also offered as a Markdown version you can copy for offline reading.

What the site covers

According to the Overview page, Tilted Online creates multiplayer mods for Bethesda games. The current supported title is Skyrim, through Skyrim Together Reborn. Support for Fallout 4 is planned but not yet available. The mods are designed for co-op play with 2 to 8 players.

The team describes itself as not a game development studio: it is mostly students working in their free time and relying on donations.

Documentation entry points

Entry point Where it is What it gives you
Overview The wiki home page What the project is, which games are supported, and the team's own statement of expectations
llms.txt Linked at the top of the Overview The complete documentation index
Markdown version Linked on the Overview page A copyable plain-text version of the page
Getting Started Linked at the bottom of the Overview ("Next") The first step for installing and using the mod

Set expectations before you install

The Overview is explicit that the mods are not perfect: they will occasionally crash, some quests will break, and bugs will exist. The team states this is not fixable and is simply the reality of a multiplayer mod built outside a large studio. It still describes the result as playable and a lot of fun.

If you are planning a session, read the Getting Started page first, then check the llms.txt index for pages on the specific problems you hit. For a group, agree in advance on how you will handle a crash or a broken quest so a session does not stall.
