Where to Find VTES Rules, Strategy, and Card Trading on forum.vekn.de

forum.vekn.de is the German VTES community forum. If you are looking for a specific type of content, go straight to the matching board instead of browsing the whole index: Regelfragen for rules and card questions, Strategie und Taktik for play advice and experience reports, Succubus Club for card exchange, buying, and selling, and Ressourcen for external VTES sites, deck-building tools, proxy tools, and rulebooks. New players also have a dedicated entry area with introductions and player search.

Rules and card questions: Regelfragen

Use this board when you have a question about a rule or a specific card. It is the largest discussion area on the forum by post count, with 723 topics and 5,037 posts at the time of the snapshot, and it is actively used — the most recent listed reply was on 18 Sep 2026.

What belongs here:

• Rule interactions you cannot resolve from the rulebook
• Card-specific questions (for example, timing or wording of a particular card)
• Clarifications before or during a game

The board description translates roughly to: "Do you have questions about rules or cards? Ask them here!" If your question is about how to play rather than how a rule works, use Strategie und Taktik instead.

Strategy and tactics: Strategie und Taktik

This board is for exchanging experience with other players — the description asks how you should play in order to win. Use it for:

• Deck-building approaches and card choices
• Table politics and play sequencing
• Tournament preparation and matchup discussion

Note that in the snapshot this board shows only 1 topic, so it is far less populated than Regelfragen. If you post a strategy question and get little response, the general V:TES Allgemein board (300 topics, 1,937 posts) is the busier catch-all for VTES topics that do not fit elsewhere, including news about upcoming products.

Card trading: Succubus Club

Succubus Club is the marketplace board: "Tausch, Kauf und Verkauf von VTES-Karten, inkl. Links zu Webshops" — trading, buying, and selling VTES cards, including links to web shops. It is moderated by hardyrange and had 19 topics and 35 posts in the snapshot.

Use it for:

• Offering cards for trade
• Looking for specific cards to buy
• Selling duplicates
• Finding links to online shops

Individual trader threads exist here, for example a recurring card market thread last updated 29 Jul 2026. Treat any trade as a private arrangement between users; the forum itself is a noticeboard, not an escrow service.

Resources: Ressourcen

This board collects external material rather than discussion: VTES websites, deck-building tools, proxy tools, and rulebooks. It had 18 topics and 113 posts, with the latest listed reply on 23 Jul 2026. Check here first if you want a deck builder or a rules reference before asking a question — the answer may already be linked.

If you are new to VTES

The forum has a dedicated section for newcomers ("Info für neue Spieler / Info for new players") with three boards:

The player-search board is the practical starting point if you want opponents or a local contact; the introduction board is where you say hello. Both were still receiving replies in mid-2026, so they are not dead areas.

Practical notes

• The forum interface is in German, but the new-player section is explicitly labelled bilingually ("Info für neue Spieler / Info for new players"), and English-language posts are common in international VTES communities.
• Reading requires no account; posting and replying require registration and login, both reachable from the top navigation.
• The index also shows "Unanswered topics" and "Active topics" quick links, which are the fastest way to see where help is currently needed or where discussion is happening.
• An archived general VTES forum section exists with over 1,000 topics and 15,000 posts, but its last activity is from 2022 — treat it as a searchable archive rather than a place to post.

In short: rules → Regelfragen, play advice → Strategie und Taktik (or V:TES Allgemein if quiet), cards → Succubus Club, tools and links → Ressourcen, and newcomers → the new-player boards.
