Where to Read Giant Robot Club Comics Online

Updated

You can read Giant Robot Club comics directly on giantrobot.club, and the site also points readers to Webtoon and Tapas for two of its series. If you want to follow updates, discuss the comics, or support them with votes, the site lists Discord and TopWebComics as the main community channels.

Comics available and where to find them

The site organizes its comics under a few headings, with three named series and a set of related pages.

Comic What it is Where the site points you
Antihero for Hire The ongoing encounters of night-time superhero Shadehawk, as he battles a baffling rogues gallery Webtoon ("Remastered, Rerun, Reread"), Tapas ("Upscaled, Uploaded, Upvote")
ADVENTURERS!!TWO A comic where you "join Protagonist as she shakes up the destroyed world, one murder at a time" TopWebComics (voting link)
ADVENTURERS! The original classic JRPG comic, following Karn, Ardam and the rest of the party as they parody JRPG tropes on a quest to defeat Dark Lord Khrima TVTropes page

The site's own navigation also includes sections labeled "ADV / OTHER JUNK!", "INFO and BIOS", "FILLER and EXTRAS", "Other / News", "CARDMASTER CONFLICT", "MISCELLANY", "ADVENTURERS!!TWO", "DRAMATIS PERSONAE", "GLOSSARY", and "EXTRANEOUS" — so beyond the comics themselves, there is background material and extras to browse.

Reading on the site vs. external platforms

  • On giantrobot.club: The homepage presents the comics and links out to the reading platforms. Use the site as your index for what exists and where each series lives.
  • Webtoon and Tapas: These are the named external homes for Antihero for Hire. The site describes the Webtoon version as remastered and the Tapas version as upscaled, so the same comic is presented in more than one place.
  • TopWebComics: Voting links are provided for ADVENTURERS!!TWO and Antihero for Hire. Voting is a way to support the comics rather than a reading destination.

Following updates and joining the community

  • Discord: The site's news notes, "Just FYI we do have a Discord!" — described as the place to discuss GRC's comic offerings.
  • Site news: The latest news entries on the page date from 2021, so check the news section for the most recent site-level announcements.
  • TVTropes: There are dedicated TVTropes pages for ADVENTURERS! and Antihero for Hire if you want fan-written summaries and trope breakdowns.
