Where Yale Alumni Can Find Quick Links for Class Dues, Service, and Benefits

Updated

The Yale Alumni Association homepage (alumni.yale.edu) has a Quick Links section near the bottom of the page that points directly to three of the most requested alumni tasks: Pay Class Dues, Get Involved with Service, and Find Alumni Benefits. Scroll to that section rather than searching the site menu — the links are listed there as plain text items.

What Each Quick Link Leads To

Quick Link What it's for When to use it
Pay Class Dues Class dues payments You want to settle or check your class dues
Get Involved with Service Service opportunities (e.g., Yale Day of Service, Yale Alumni Service Corps) You want to volunteer through alumni programs
Find Alumni Benefits Alumni perks and benefits You want to see what benefits your alumni status includes

The same page also lists Connect with classmates, Find Groups with similar interests, Attend Events in your community, Share News by submitting class notes, Learn for a lifetime, and Mentor a current student or alum under "Great Ways to Get Involved" — useful if your goal is broader than the three Quick Links.

How to Use the Page

  1. Open alumni.yale.edu.
  2. Scroll past the Featured Content and Alumni News sections to Quick Links.
  3. Select the link matching your task — dues, service, or benefits.
  4. On the destination page, follow the prompts for that specific action (the homepage itself does not process payments or list benefit details).

Expected result: you land on the page dedicated to that task instead of hunting through navigation menus.

Common Sticking Points

  • The links are easy to miss. They sit at the bottom of the homepage, below news items, so scan for the "Quick Links" heading rather than the top banner.
  • The homepage is a hub, not a transaction page. Dues payment and benefit details happen on the linked pages; don't expect forms or pricing on the homepage itself.
  • Service has multiple entry points. The Quick Link sits alongside program-specific pages such as Yale Day of Service and the Yale Alumni Service Corps — pick the program page if you already know which service activity you want.

Related Resources on the Same Site

  • YAA Strategic Plan — explains the association's four focus areas: service, lifelong learning, social connection, and professional development and mentoring. Read this if you want context for why service and mentoring appear so prominently.
  • Alumni News — recent items such as the Yale Club of New Haven honoring local high school seniors, showing the kinds of activities these links support.

If you're unsure which link fits, start with Find Alumni Benefits — it's the broadest entry point and often leads to the other alumni services from there.
