Which countries are supported for sMiles video tasks?
sMiles video tasks are only available in a specific list of countries. If you are in the US, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, or the United Arab Emirates, you can participate. If your country is not on that list, the video task feature is not available to you, even though the sMiles app itself may still be downloadable.

What this means in practice
| Your situation | Can you do sMiles video tasks? |
|---|---|
| You are physically in a listed country | Yes, subject to the app's other requirements |
| You are in a country not on the list | No — the task feature is restricted |
| You travel between listed and unlisted countries | Availability depends on where you are when completing tasks |
The restriction applies to the video task feature specifically. The source describes sMiles as a broader Bitcoin rewards app with other earning options (walking, shopping, games, surveys, and more), but it does not state that those other features share the same country list. Treat the list above as the condition for video tasks only.
How to start if your country is supported
- Download sMiles and Minute Data. Create an account, accept the terms, and link your Minute Data account to sMiles.
- Complete tasks. Open the Minute Data app and record paid point-of-view (POV) video tasks from home. The site notes that no face recording is required.
- Open sMiles. Watch your rewards accumulate as you complete daily tasks.
- Get paid. Withdraw earnings via Bitcoin (Lightning Network), gift cards, or stablecoins.
Common sticking points
- The app may install even where tasks are unavailable. Downloading the app does not guarantee task eligibility; the country restriction is separate.
- Review takes time. The site lists a typical review time of about 4 hours before earnings land, with final approval potentially taking up to 6 weeks. Plan around that delay rather than expecting instant payout.
- Rate varies by task. The site advertises a top task rate of $4–$12 per approved hour of footage, so actual earnings depend on which tasks you complete and how many are approved.
If your country is not on the list, the video task route is closed regardless of other setup steps.
