Which eBay Sites Does FatFingers Support?
Updated
FatFingers supports 16 eBay marketplaces: US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, India, Ireland, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, and Malaysia. You pick the site from the list on the FatFingers homepage, and the typo search runs against that marketplace's listings.
How the site selection works
FatFingers is a typo-search layer that sits in front of eBay. Its homepage presents the supported eBay sites as a row of options — eBay US, eBay UK, eBay Australia, eBay Canada, eBay Germany, eBay France, eBay Italy, eBay Spain, eBay Netherlands, eBay Belgium, eBay India, eBay Ireland, eBay Philippines, eBay Singapore, eBay Switzerland, and eBay Malaysia.
The flow is:
- Choose the eBay site you want to search.
- Enter the item you're looking for (for example,
iphoneorplaystation). - FatFingers generates common misspellings and typo variations of that term.
- It searches those variations on the selected eBay marketplace and shows matching listings.
- A link to eBay is displayed so you can open the results there.
The point of searching a specific site rather than "eBay everywhere" is that listings, sellers, currencies, and shipping options differ by marketplace. A typo listing for the same product may exist on eBay UK but not on eBay US, so the site you choose determines what you actually see.
Supported eBay sites
| Region | eBay site |
|---|---|
| North America | eBay US, eBay Canada |
| Europe | eBay UK, eBay Germany, eBay France, eBay Italy, eBay Spain, eBay Netherlands, eBay Belgium, eBay Ireland, eBay Switzerland |
| Asia-Pacific | eBay Australia, eBay India, eBay Philippines, eBay Singapore, eBay Malaysia |
Why results differ between sites
Each eBay marketplace is a separate pool of listings with its own sellers and inventory. Two consequences follow:
- Coverage varies. A misspelled listing only appears if a seller on that specific site made the typo. Searching eBay US won't surface a typo listing that lives on eBay Germany.
- Competition varies. Smaller or more localized marketplaces may have fewer bidders on a given typo listing, which is the whole premise behind the tool — fewer bidders generally means a better chance at a lower price.
If you're hunting a specific item, it's worth running the same search across more than one supported site, especially if the product is popular in a particular region.
Practical notes
- FatFingers states that it contains affiliate links and that it may be compensated — this doesn't change which sites are supported, but it's worth knowing when you click through to eBay.
- The site lists popular typo examples such as
iphone, nintendo, playstation, samsung, airpods, macbook, pokemon, andtelevision, which you can use as starting points to see how the typo search behaves on different marketplaces. - FatFingers doesn't replace eBay search itself; it feeds you typo variations and then hands you off to the selected eBay site. Final bidding, buying, and payment all happen on eBay.
