Which games does Tilted Online support for multiplayer, and how many players can join?
Updated
Tilted Online currently supports multiplayer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim only, through its Skyrim Together Reborn mod. Co-op sessions are designed for 2 to 8 players. Support for Fallout 4 is planned but not yet available.
Current game support
| Game | Multiplayer mod | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Skyrim | Skyrim Together Reborn | Available |
| Fallout 4 | Not named on the overview page | Planned, not yet supported |
The project describes itself as creating multiplayer mods for Bethesda games, with co-op as the goal rather than competitive play. Skyrim is the only title it supports today; Fallout 4 is named as a future target, so anyone looking to play Fallout 4 cooperatively will need to wait for an announcement.
How many players can join
Sessions are intended for 2 to 8 players. That range fits small groups of friends rather than large public servers, so plan around a handful of people you know.
What to expect before installing
The team is explicit that this is a hobby project, not a studio product:
- The team is mostly students working in their free time and is not a game development studio.
- The mods are not perfect: expect occasional crashes, broken quests, and bugs.
- The developers state these issues are not fixable in the way a purpose-built multiplayer game would be, and they ask users to manage expectations accordingly.
- Despite this, they describe the experience as playable and a lot of fun.
If your group can tolerate the occasional crash or a quest that does not progress correctly, Skyrim Together Reborn is the option available now. If you need a stable, fully scripted co-op experience, or you specifically want Fallout 4, this project does not currently meet that need.
