Who Are the Current Karate Combat Champions?

Karate Combat lists its current champions by division on karate.com, and the roster includes titleholders across heavyweight, lightweight, welterweight, bantamweight, women's bantamweight, and women's strawweight. The champions named on the site are Robelis Despaigne (Heavyweight), Luiz Rocha (Lightweight), Ilyas Khamzin (Welterweight), Oussama Assli (Welterweight), Shahzaib Rind (Lightweight), Smile'N Sam Alvey (Heavyweight), Melinda Fabian (Women's Bantamweight), Arturo Vergara (Bantamweight), and Sthefanie Oliveira (Women's Strawweight).

Current Champions Listed on Karate.com

Note that the site lists more than one champion in some divisions (heavyweight, lightweight, and welterweight each appear twice). That reflects how the roster is presented on the page rather than a single unified title line per division, so treat the table as the site's current listing rather than a single reigning champion per weight class.

How to See the Full Fighter List

The champion names above appear alongside a "View all fighters" link on the site. If you want the complete roster beyond the titleholders, use that link to browse every fighter rather than relying only on the champion cards.

Where Else Champions Appear

Champion names are also tied to Karate Combat's fan-facing features. The site describes an app where fans can "vote on your fighters before each Karate Combat event" and "grow your $KARATE token stash every time your fighters win." So the champion list is not just reference information — it connects to the league's app-based voting and token mechanics.

Practical Notes

• Champion listings can change as events take place, so check karate.com directly for the latest titleholders.
• The site presents champions as cards with names and division labels; the "View all fighters" link leads to the broader roster.
• For event schedules and how to watch, the site's Events and "How to watch" sections are the relevant entry points.
