Who Is Syphist, and Where Can I Find Her Official Website and Social Profiles?

Updated

Syphist, who also goes by Chloe, is the owner of syphist.com, a personal website that hosts her profile and a set of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon wonder mail generators. Her official social profiles are linked from that site: Fediverse, YouTube, Twitch, GitHub, and osu!. Use syphist.com as the starting point if you want to confirm which accounts are hers, since the links are published together on her own site.

The official website

The site is titled "Syphist's Website" and describes itself as a personal website. Its navigation covers:

  • Home
  • PMD Generators — generators for Rescue Team (Wondermail SOS Mail, AOK Mail) and Explorers (Wondermail AOK Mail, Wondermail S)
  • Games Archive
  • My Accounts
  • About Me!

If you arrived at a page claiming to be Syphist's but it isn't on syphist.com, treat it as unverified until you can match it against the links on her site.

Social profiles

Her "My Accounts" and "Social Media Links!" sections list these platforms:

Platform What you'll find there
Fediverse Her recommended way to keep up with her
YouTube Video content
Twitch Streaming
GitHub Her website and a few other projects
osu! Her osu! profile

She explicitly recommends following her Fediverse profile if you want to keep up with her, so that's the best single follow if you only want one.

What she's into

From her About Me page:

  • She describes herself as a "resident gay AuDHD transgirl and shitposter."
  • She's strongest in Linux and IT tinkering rather than programming — she prefers getting existing things working over building new ones.
  • She's used Linux on and off since around 2014, favors the XFCE desktop environment (since about 2016), and has run Kubuntu, Mint XFCE, Xubuntu, and Arch Linux before settling back on Mint XFCE. She currently still uses Windows for gaming.
  • Her tinkering history includes hosting Minecraft servers, automating tasks with existing software, running her own websites on multiple web server suites, and working with retro handhelds (such as Anbernic devices) and hacked consoles.
  • Favorite games: Deep Rock Galactic, the Borderlands franchise, Terraria, and the Minecraft mod/retrofork Better Than Adventure. She leans toward co-op and PvE games.

If you came for the PMD generators

The site's most practical tool is its Pokémon Mystery Dungeon wonder mail generator section, split by game:

  • Rescue Team: Wondermail SOS Mail, AOK Mail
  • Explorers: Wondermail AOK Mail, Wondermail S

Start from the "PMD Generators" entry in the site navigation and pick the generator matching your game and mail type. The site doesn't publish pricing or login details for these tools, so check the pages themselves for any requirements before relying on them.
