EnglishWho Supports the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra?
Updated
The Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra (mnphil.org) publicly thanks its foundation supporters on its website, and that page is the best starting point for learning who backs the organization. The site is the orchestra's official online presence, so supporter acknowledgments, organizational details, and season updates all live there. If you want to know who funds the ensemble or how to get involved, start with the foundation supporters section and the site's main navigation.
What the Site Says About Supporters
The site includes a section titled "Thank you to our foundation supporters!" This is the organization's own acknowledgment of the foundations that help fund its work. The page evidence does not list individual foundation names, so the acknowledgment heading is the confirmed detail; specific supporter names would need to be read directly on the site.
The same page also carries two calls to action:
- Tickets for our 34th season available soon — indicating the orchestra announces season ticket availability on the site.
- Raise your Voice – give to the MPO today — a donation appeal using the abbreviation MPO.
About the Organization
The Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra describes itself as "an instrumental voice for the GLBTQA community." It is based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, and serves as a fine-arts resource for the LGBTQA community, including lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people, queer people, and allies.

Where to Find More
To go beyond the supporter acknowledgment, use the site itself:
- Open mnphil.org and look for the foundation supporters section to see which foundations are credited.
- Check the season/tickets area for the 34th season announcement and performance details.
- Use the donation link or appeal ("Raise your Voice – give to the MPO today") if you want to support the orchestra financially.
- Browse the main navigation for organizational background, concert information, and community resources.
The site does not publish ticket prices or payment details in the available material, so confirm those directly on the ticket page once the 34th season listing goes live.
