Does bomomo Have an iPhone or iPad App?

Updated

Yes. The bomomo homepage includes a link reading "Get the iPhone & iPad app | Manyland: Chat & Draw," so there is a mobile app path associated with bomomo. The same page also links to the bomomo Gallery and other sites, and it states that images you create are yours to use freely.

What the bomomo homepage actually offers

The page is the entry point for bomomo, a browser-based drawing tool created by Philipp Lenssen in 2008 (with an IExplorer version by Nikolai Kordulla). From the homepage you can:

  • Save your work — there are "save normal" and "save high quality" options, with the high-quality file needing to be renamed to *.png.
  • Get the mobile app — the "Get the iPhone & iPad app | Manyland: Chat & Draw" link points to the app associated with bomomo.
  • Browse the gallery — a "bomomo Gallery" link shows images made with the tool.
  • Read the about section — background on the project and its creator.
  • Send feedback — via [email protected].

Getting the iPhone or iPad app

  1. Open bomomo.com.
  2. Find the link labeled "Get the iPhone & iPad app | Manyland: Chat & Draw."
  3. Follow it to reach the app listing.

The homepage does not describe the app's features, price, or whether it requires a login, so check the app store listing for those details before downloading.

Ownership of what you create

The homepage states plainly: "Feel free to do anything with the image you create... it's yours!" So images you make with bomomo are yours to use as you wish.

Other things to know
