How do I find my retirement plan on the WV Consolidated Public Retirement Board website?
Go to wvretirement.com and use the Find Your Plan section on the homepage. Under Active Members, select View all active member plans to expand the full list, then click the plan that matches your employment and membership tier. The site administers ten retirement systems, and each plan page provides detailed information and access to benefit management.
The plans listed on the site
The homepage lists these plans under Active Members:
- PERS Tier I
- PERS Tier II
- TRS Tier I
- TRS Tier II
- TDC Plan
- State Trooper Plan A
- State Trooper Plan B
- DSRS
- JRS
- EMSRS
- MPFRS
- NRPORS
How to pick the right one
Your plan depends on your employer, job type, and when you were hired. Tier I and Tier II are separate membership tiers within the same system (PERS for public employees, TRS for teachers), so the tier matters as much as the system name. State Trooper members also need to choose between Plan A and Plan B. If you are unsure which tier or plan applies to you, check your pay stub, benefits statement, or employment paperwork before relying on a plan page.
What you can do once you find your plan
After clicking your plan, the site states you can get detailed information and manage your benefits. The homepage also notes that online self-service is available from the website for active employees, inactive employees, and retirees.
